What You Need: |

1 ounce strained fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon superfine sugar
3 ounces light or dark rum
4 ounces (˝ cup) water
3 or 4 ice cubes
2 thin orange slices

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Combine the lime juice, sugar, rum, water and 3 or 4 ice cubes in a mixing glass, and place a bar shaker on top of the glass.
|
2. Grasping the glass and shaker firmly together with both hands, shake them vigorously 9 or 10 times.
|
3. Remove the shaker and place a strainer over the mixing glass.
|
4. Pour the punch into 2 chilled highball glasses filled with ice cubes, garnish with orange slices, and serve at once.
