Hungarian Goulash With Bread Dumplings

What You Need: |

|
2 medium onions, chopped
2 tablespoons lard or bacon drippings
1 pound boneless beef for stew
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups water
6 medium potatoes, diced

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Cook onions in lard about 5 minutes.
|
2. Add meat, paprika, salt, garlic and water; cover and cook slowly 1 hour.
|
3. Add potatoes; cover and cook 30 minutes, or until meat is tender and potatoes are done.
|
4. Add Bread Dumplings; cover and continue cooking 12 to 15 minutes.
