Braised Guinea Hen
What You Need:
  • 1 prepared guinea hen (may be substitute by partridge, pheasant or turkey)
  • Fat
  • 1 lump of butter
  • 1 pound carrots
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 sliced onion
  • Parsley, thyme, salt, pepper to taste
  • How To Cook:
    1. Put butter inside guinea hen and brown in sizzling fat.

    2. Clean and slice carrots lengthwise and add to pan with garlic, onion and herbs.

    3. Cover and cook about an hour depending on the age of the bird.

    4. Wine may be added to the sauce.

    To Serve: 2
