Sea Grape Jelly Or Orange Jelly Or Guava Jelly
What You Need:
  • 7 pounds sea grapes
  • OR
  • 7 pounds sliced guavas
  • OR
  • 7 cups diced oranges
  • 7 pints water (boil 30 minutes)
  • Sugar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Add grapes (oranges, guavas) to water and bring to a boil.

    2. Stir with a wooden spoon and crush fruit whilst stirring.

    3. Boil about 20 minutes.

    4. Drip through a sieve without stirring.

    5. Measure this juice and for every cup of liquid, add an equal amount of sugar.

    6. Return sugar and liquid to heat and boil rapidly. Skim.

    7. Boil until a little tested on a plate will jell.

    8. Pour into jars, and cool before sealing.

    To Make: 4-5 jars
