Vegetable Salad With Peanut - Butter Sauce
(Gado Gada)
What You Need:
  • 2 cups cut-up cold cooked green beans
  • 2 cups sliced cold, cooked carrots
  • 2 cups sliced cold, boiled potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage or lettuce
  • 2 large tomatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 medium-sized cucumbers, peeled and sliced
  • 2/3 cup peanut butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 to 1˝ teaspoons cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 cups milk

  • How To Cook:
    1. Arrange vegetables attractively on a platter. Refrigerate.

    2. Heat peanut butter in a small saucepan until runny.

    3. Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat, stirring, until smooth. Cool.

    4. Serve with vegetables.

    To Serve: 12
