Almond Ring Biscuits
(Hrebah)
What You Need:
  • 2 cups butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • Blanched, slivered almonds

  • How To Cook:
    1. Clarify the butter, allow it to cool and beat with a wire whisk until it makes a thick white cream.

    2. Beat in the sugar gradually, then mix in the flour, working with the hands until a pliable dough is formed.

    3. Roll into 4-inch lengths, form into rings and flatten slightly.

    4. Stick almonds into the dough rings and bake in a slow oven (300°F), so as to keep the biscuits as white as possible.
