1. Combine all the ingredients except the fat.

2. Form into balls the size of walnuts and saute in hot melted fat till browned on all sides.

3. Add ingredients for sauce in the order listed.
|
4. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes over moderate heat.
|
5. Uncover and cook for 5-10 minutes longer.
|
6. Serve with cooked spaghetti or noodles.
