Blueberry Pie
What You Need:
  • Pastry
  • 1 pound fresh blueberries (bilberries), washed
  • 3 oz sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • How To Cook:
    1. Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.

    2. Mix the sugar, cinnamon, salt and flour, sprinkle some on the bottom of the pie.

    3. Alternate the layers of berries and sugar mixture, finishing with the berries.

    4. Add the lemon juice and dots of butter.

    5. Cover with a top crust or lattice of pastry.

    6. Bake in a moderately hot oven (400°F) for 30 minutes.
