Afternoon Tea Scones
What You Need:
  • 1˝ oz butter
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ˝ pound flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ˝ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • A little milk

  • How To Cook:
    1. Rub the fat into the flour.

    2. Add the dry ingredients and mix with milk to soft dough.

    3. Roll out ˝ inch thick, cut into rounds, put on to greased baking trays and bake in a hot oven (450°F) for 7 - 10 minutes.
