Red Cabbage Salad
(Voros Kaposzta Salata)
What You Need:
  • ½ a medium-sized head red cabbage, finely shredded
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

  • How To Cook:
    1. In large bowl, sprinkle cabbage with salt; let stand for ½ hour.

    2. In saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, pepper; bring to boil; pour over cabbage.

    3. Refrigerate until serving time; drain.

    4. Serve with pot roast or pork.

    To Serve: 2 - 4
