Finnish Fingers
(Finska Pinnar)
What You Need:
  • 10 oz flour
  • 2 oz ground almonds
  • 2 oz sugar
  • 8 oz butter
  • Egg white, coarse sugar and chopped almonds to coat biscuits

  • How To Cook:
    1. Put the flour, ground almonds and sugar into a bowl, work in the butter with the fingers and knead to a smooth paste.

    2. Roll into small fingers, dip in beaten egg white and coat with sugar and almonds.

    3. Place on a buttered baking sheet and bake in a moderately hot oven (400░F) until they are lightly browned and firm.
