											| How To Cook: |

 1. In an old-fashioned glass, place the ½ lump of sugar, dash of bitters and drop of cold water.

 2. With a muddler, crush the sugar so that it is completely dissolved: if it is not, it will cloud the drink.

 3. Add the ice cubes and whiskey and stir well.

 4. Twist the lemon peel over the drink, releasing the oil, twirl the cut edgeof the peel around the inside rim of the glass, and drop it in.

NOTE: Sometimes a slice of orange and/or a maraschino cherry are added.
