What You Need:            (To Make: 2 cocktails)

  • ½ medium-sized ripe banana, peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 4 ounces light rum
  • ½ ounce banana liqueur
  • ½ ounce strained fresh lime juice
  • ½ cup crushed or finely cracked ice
  • Superfine sugar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Combine the banana, rum, banana liqueur, lime juice and ice in the jar of an electric blender, and blend at high speed for 20 or 30 seconds, until the banana is completely pulverized and the mixture smooth and frothy.

    2. Taste and add superfine sugar if necessary.

    3. Pour the Daiquiri into 2 chilled 8-ounce old-fashioned glasses and serve at once.
