What You Need:            (To Serve: 2)

  • 1 cup canned pineapple juice
  • 4 ounces light rum
  • ½ ounce strained fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon Cointreau or other orange-flavored liqueur
  • Superfine sugar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Combine the pineapple juice, rum, lime juice and Cointreau in the jar of an electric blender, and blend at high speed for about 20 seconds.

    2. Taste and stir or blend in a little superfine sugar, if you find it necessary.

    3. Pour the Daiquiri into 2 chilled 8- to 10-ounce old-fashioned glasses filled with ice cubes, and serve at once.
