What You Need:

  • 1 pkg. bammy (4 to a pkg.)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cut bammies into quarters or wedges.

    2. In a bowl, sock bammies in milk, 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

    3. In large saucepan over medium heat, fry bammy in oil until golden brown. (You can brush each side with margarine and grill.)

    4. Place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

    5. Sprinkle with salt before serving. Serve hot with fried fish.
