What You Need:            (To Serve: 4 to 6)

  • ¾ cup diced cooked ham
  • ½ teaspoon paprika generous dash crushed saffron or ground turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 can (10½ ounces) condensed onion soup
  • 1 can (11 ounces) condensed tomato rice soup
  • 1½ soup cans water
  • 1 pound frozen raw shrimp, cleaned
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, chopped

  • How To Cook:
    1. Brown ham with paprika and saffron in oil in a saucepan.

    2. Add remaining ingredients except egg; bring to a boil.

    3. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, or until done, stirring occasionally.

    4. Garnish with egg.
