2 pounds chicken parts
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 can (10¾ ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
¾ cup orange juice
1 cup sliced onion
2 tablespoons slivered almonds
2 tablespoons raisins
2 medium cloves garlic. minced
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Generous dash of crushed saffron or ground turmeric
Orange slices (for garnish)

How To Cook: |

1. Brown chicken in oil in skillet; pour off fat.
|
2. Stir in remaining ingredients except orange slices; cover and simmer 45 minutes, or until done, stirring occasionally.
