What You Need:            (To Make: about 1 cup)

  • ½ cup freshly grated or packaged or frozen unsweetened coconut

  • How To Cook:
    1. Put ½ cup freshly grated or packaged or frozen unsweetened coconut and ½ cup hot water in a bowl and leave at room temperature 1 hour.

    2. Strain liquid from the coconut, discarding the coconut.

    3. Use the "milk" as directed in the recipe.

    4. For thicker milk, use less liquid.
