What You Need:            (To Serve: 4 - 6)

  • 4 oz dried apricots
  • 4 oz prunes
  • 4 oz dried figs
  • Other dried fruit as available
  • 2 oz raisins
  • 2 oz almonds
  • 2 oz pine kernels
  • 2 oz pistachio nuts
  • 2 tablespoons rosewater
  • Sugar syrup or fruit syrup to taste
  • Ice

  • How To Cook:
    1. Wash the dried fruit, cover with cold water and leave to soak in a cool place for 24 hours.

    2. Blanch the nuts and add to the fruit, with the rosewater and enough syrup to sweeten.

    3. Keep in a cold place, preferably the refrigerator, until needed; serve with ice cubes floating in the juice.
