What You Need:            (To Serve: 1 - 2)

  • 4 quinces
  • Minced cooked mutton or chicken
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 oz butter

  • How To Cook:
    1. Core the quinces, cover with boiling water and simmer for 20 minutes.

    2. Drain and stuff with the seasoned meat.

    3. Place in a shallow fire-proof dish, pour on the honey, dot with butter and bake in a moderate oven (375°F) for 1 hour.
