What You Need:

  • 3 pound of sloes
  • Water
  • Sugar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Prepare 3 pound of sloes, cover with cold water, and cook until tender.

    2. Strain, and pass through a sieve.

    3. To each 1 pound pulp allow 1½ pound sugar; bring to the boil again and test for setting, but do not over boil.

    4. Pot as usual.
