  • 1½ pound potatoes
  • 1 pound sausages
  • 2½ pound onions
  • Salt
  • 6 oz rice
  • Vinegar

  • How To Cook:
    1. Peel the potatoes and half-cover with salted water.

    2. Bring to the boil and add the onions, peeled and chopped, and the washed rice.

    3. Add a little more water put the sausages on top and simmer till the vegetables and rice is soft and the sausages are cooked about 30 minutes.

    4. Dish the vegetables and rice on to a hot plate and arrange the sausages round, sprinkling with vinegar to taste.
