	1. Add a pinch of salt to the flour and mix to smooth dough with a little water; the dough should not be sticky and you should be able to roll it without difficulty.

	2. Divide into 20-30 pieces and roll these out as thin as possible.

	3. Spread each piece with lard or margarine, putting one piece on top of another in pairs.

	4. Fry these in a greased frying pan until they begin to rise, and then wrap each piece in a cloth. In a separate bowl put the eggs, seasoning, cream cheese, cream, a little milk and 4 oz. of the lard or margarine and mix well together.

	5. Grease a tin approximately the size of your rolled-out dough and then place one piece in the tin, spread with the above filling and add another piece.

	6. Continue until all the pieces are used up, leaving the top piece plain.

	7. Spread the top with lard, and bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 15 minutes, until the top is a delicate brown.
