What You Need:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/8 pint white wine
  • ¼ pint water
  • 6 egg yolks

  • How To Cook:
    1. Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer the mixture, stirring continuously, till it begins to thicken.

    2. Remove the pan from the heat and continue to stir the cream until it is cool.

    3. Use as required as a cake filling or decoration, etc.
