  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 tablespoons soya sauce
  • 1 cup thinly sliced mushrooms
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup thinly sliced onions
  • 2 teaspoons Prepared Sesame Seed
  • ½ cup minced lean beef
  • 3 cups cold water
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • How To Cook:
    1. Pick over the rice carefully and wash it well.

    2. Mix the mushrooms, onions, beef, the soya sauce, pepper, oil and Prepared Sesame Seed and cook for 2 minutes, stirring well.

    3. Add this meat mixture to the rice, with the cold water and salt.

    4. Cover tightly and bring quickly to the boil; reduce the heat as low as possible and steam for 30 minutes, without stirring or removing the lid.
