Scorpion
What You Need:
  • 2 ounces light rum
  • 1 ounce brandy
  • 3 tablespoons strained fresh orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons strained fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon orgeat (almond-flavored syrup)
  • 1 cup crushed or finely cracked ice

    GARNISH
  • 1 fresh gardenia

  • How To Cook:
    1. Combine the rum, brandy, orange and lemon juice, orgeat and ice in the jar of an electric blender and blend at high speed for 20 or 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth and frothy.

    2. Pour the scorpion into a 16-ounce wide-mouth stemmed glass or individual compote, place the gardenia on top, and serve at once.
