Creamed Green Beans & Mushrooms
What You Need:
1 pound fresh whole green beans cut diagonally in half
3
cups
sliced fresh mushrooms (about ½ pound)
2
tablespoons
butter or margarine
1 can (10¾ ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
2/3 cup light cream
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup sliced almonds (for garnish)
How To Cook:

. Cook beans in boiling water 15 minutes, or until tender; drain.

. Brown mushrooms in butter in a
saucepan
.

. Add soup, cream, lemon juice and beans; heat, stirring occasionally.

. Garnish with almonds.
