Fish In Sweet - Sour Sauce

What You Need: |

|
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon thyme leaves, crushed
¼ cup butter or margarine
1 can (10¾ ounces) condensed cream of celery soup
4 cups bread cubes
1 cup chopped apple
1 teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon pepper
3 pounds dressed sea trout
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

How To Cook: |

|
1. To make the stuffing, combine in a saucepan mushrooms, onion and thyme; brown in 3 tablespoons butler until tender.
|
2. Add ¼ cup soup, bread cubes, apple, sugar and pepper.
|
3. Stuff fish. Place in an 18 by 12 by 2-inch shallow baking pan; brush with melted butler.
|
4. Bake in preheated 350°F oven 1 hour, or until done.
|
5. Meanwhile, combine remaining soup, lemon juice and parsley in a saucepan; heat, stirring occasionally.
|
6. Spoon over fish or serve in a gravy boat.
