Burgundy Meat Balls
What You Need:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup light cream (or evaporated milk)
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 teaspoons beef bouillon concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • ½ cup light cream (or evaporated milk)
  • ½ cup Burgundy wine

  • How To Cook:
    1. Put the first three ingredients in a small covered dish and cook in the microwave oven for 5 minutes.

    2. Mix with the next seven ingredients (down through the ¾ cup light cream). Form into 24 meat balls.

    3. Put into a covered casserole that is large enough to put them in a single layer. Cook, covered, in the microwave oven for 7 minutes.

    4. Mix the remaining ingredients. Add to the meat balls and cook, covered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over noodles or rice.
