Barbecued Beef Standing Ribs
What You Need:
  • 8 - 10 pounds beef ribs
  • Salt, black pepper, garlic powder

    SAUCE
  • 14 oz ketchup
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon saffron
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 red pepper, finely chopped
  • How To Cook:
    1. Season ribs liberally with salt, pepper, garlic powder; let stand overnight.

    2. When ready to cook, skewer beef, and cook over cools, turning very slowly, for about 2 - 3 hours.

    3. Meanwhile, combine sauce ingredients, simmer 15 minutes.

    4. Baste ribs with sauce only 15 minutes before removing from cools.

    TIP:
        To add on extra special touch, orange juice can be added to the basting mixture.
     
    To Serve: 10 - 12
