	| ½ pound margarine
		1 cup sugar
		2 eggs
		2 cups flour
		1 cup milk
		2 teaspoons baking powder
		¼ teaspoon nutmeg
		½ teaspoon vanilla
		Stewed guava slices, or use tinned |  |  |  |  |

									| How To Cook: |  |  |  |  |  | 1. Cream margarine, sugar and eggs. Beat well. 
 
 |  | 2. Add flour, baking powder and nutmeg. Pour in milk to which vanilla has been added. 
 
 |  | 3. Bake in two 9 inch layer tins for 30 minutes in a 350°F oven. 
 
 |  | 4. Cool and remove from pans. Spread guava slices between the layers. 
 
 |  | 5. Sprinkle sugar lightly on top. Stewed mangoes may be used in the same manner.
