Appenzal Fried Kid
What You Need:
  • 1 pound kid meat
  • 1 leek
  • 1 onion
  • Bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • ˝ pound flour
  • 1 egg
  • ˝ pint milk
  • Oil for deep frying

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cut the meat into small pieces and braise with the leek, onions, bay leaves and seasonings in a little salted water for about 30 minutes.

    2. Take out the meat, drain and allow cooling.

    3. Make a batter with the flour, a little salt, egg and milk.

    4. Dip the meat into the batter and fry until golden.

    To Serve: 2 - 4
