Banana Bread
What You Need:
  • 1¾ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 cup ripe bananas, mashed

  • How To Cook:
    1. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.

    2. Cream shortening with sugar.

    3. Add eggs and beat.

    4. Add flour mixture and bananas alternately.

    5. Bake in a greased 9 x 5 x 3 - inch loaf pan at 350°F degrees for 60 minutes.
