Dutch Pancakes
(Flensjes)
What You Need:
  • 4 oz flour
  • ˝ pint milk
  • Salt
  • 2˝ oz butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs, beaten

  • How To Cook:
    1. Mix the flour, salt and eggs, and gradually add the milk.

    2. Melt the fat in a small frying pan, and pour it in, stirring well.

    3. Put an inverted saucer on a large plate and keep hot.

    4. Pour 3 tablespoons batter into the greased pan and fry brown on both sides, then put this pancake on the inverted saucer, and fry the remaining batter in the same way.

    5. Stack the cooked pancakes, and serve them as hot as possible, with sugar, jam or fruit.
