What You Need:            (To Serve: 2)

  • 5 ounces canned pineapple juice
  • 4 ounces light rum
  • 2 ounces bottled coconut syrup
  • 2 ounces strained fresh lime juice
  • 3 or 4 ice cubes

  • How To Cook:
    1. Combine the pineapple juice, rum, coconut syrup, lime juice and 3 or 4 ice cubes in a mixing glass, and place a bar shaker on top of the glass.

    2. Grasping the glass and shaker firmly together with both hands, shake them vigorously 9 or 10 times.

    3. Remove the shaker and place a strainer over the mixing glass.

    4. Pour the "Pina Colada" into 2 chilled 8-ounce highball glasses filled with ice cubes, and serve at once.
