What You Need:

  • ½ pound salt fish or salted cod fish
  • 2 large tomatoes, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon fresh hot pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped or sliced
  • 1 sweet pepper (green pepper), finely chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoon olive oil

  • How To Cook:
    1. Break fish in pieces and place in saucepan with cold water.

    2. Gradually heat to boiling and throw away water.

    3. Repeat until fish tastes fresh and with just enough salt to taste.

    4. Remove skin and bones (you can also buy already boned salted codfish) and break pieces of fish into even smaller pieces.

    5. Mix fish with remaining ingredients. Serve with hard-boiled eggs, sliced avocado and bakes.
