What You Need:            (To Serve: 4)

  • 1½ cups rich chicken stock
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup bulgur
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted and browned

  • How To Cook:
    1. Bring stock to a boil. Add salt and bulgur.

    2. Cover and cook over Low heat for about 25 minutes, or until bulgur is cooked.

    3. Correct seasoning and add butter.

    VARIATION:
    1. Brown 1 medium onion, chopped, in 2 tablespoons butter until soft.

    2. Add 1 cup bulgur and stir to coat. Add 1½ cups rich chicken stock and bring to a boil.

    3. Continue as above.
