What You Need:            (To Serve: 4 - 6)

  • ½ pound very lean beef, such as flank steak or sirloin (No fat!)
  • 2 tablespoons Korean Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 large clove garlic, peeled and crushed

    GARNISH
  • 1 egg yolk, cupped in a half shell

  • How To Cook:
    1. Slice the beef across the grain into 1/8-inch slices. Cut the slices into julienne strips. Using a cleaver, chop the meat coarsely.

    2. Mix the meat with the remaining ingredients, except the egg yolk. Mound onto a plate and chill very well.

    3. Serve with the egg yolk garnish sitting in its shell on top of the mound. Stir in the egg just as you serve.
