What You Need:

  • 2 cups whelk removed from shells and cleaned
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • ½ medium sweet pepper
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup noodles, uncooked
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 small onion finely chopped

  • How To Cook:
    1. Put whelk meat through meat grinder. Place in cooking pot with 6 cups water.

    2. Parboil for approximately 1-1½ hours; drain.

    3. Add celery, sweet pepper, onion, potato, noodles, tomato paste, seasoning and 8 cups water.

    4. Cook until potatoes are tender.
