What You Need:            (To Make: 1 cheesecake)

FOR THE CRUST AND TOPPING
  • 2 packets browned crumbs
  • ¼ cup sugar

    FOR THE CHEESE FILLING
  • ½ pound cream cheese
  • ½ pound cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • How To Cook:
    1. Mix the crumbs, sugar and cinnamon.

    2. Work in the softened butter until well mixed and use to line the bottom and sides of a well-buttered cake tin with removable base.

    3. Reserve a quarter of the crumb mixture to sprinkle on top.

    4. Beat the cheeses together until smooth, and then add one egg at a time, continuing to beat well.

    5. Mix the dry ingredients and add before stirring in the liquids.

    6. This makes a very loose batter which should be poured into the crumb-lined tin carefully.

    7. Sprinkle top with crumbs and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

    8. Turn off heat and leave the cake in the oven until cool.
