½ cup each seeded or seedless raisins, stoned prunes, dried apricots
A dash of salt
½ cup dry bread or cake crumbs
4 tablespoons honey

1. Combine ingredients and cook over boiling water till honey is melted.
|
2. Stir well and allow cooling.
|
3. If too thick to use as filling, add lemon juice; if not thick enough, add more crumbs.
