1. Put the lentils in the cold water and put the saucepan on the fire until the lentils are half cooked.
|
2. Then add the rice to the lentils in the water, with salt.
|
3. When the rice and lentils are quite cooked, chop the onion lengthwise; fry with the oil and brown well arid then add to the lentils and the rice.
|
4. Stir it to prevent sticking to the saucepan.
|
5. Serve with more fried crisp onions.
