1½ cups marrow or aubergine
5 large onions
1 cup minced lean meat (raw)
4 tablespoons cheese (grated)
Salt and pepper
2 eggs
Deep fat for frying

How To Cook: |

|
1. Boil marrow and onions together in salted water until tender, drain and chop very small.
|
2. Mix in all the other ingredients and bind with beaten egg.
|
3. Roll into small balls, coat with flour and fry in deep fat.
|
4. These are excellent hot or cold and make a good dish with salad or for picnics.
|
|
