What You Need:            (To Serve: 2 - 4)

  • ½ pound chopped spinach
  • ¼ pound stoned prunes
  • ½ pound marrow, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 oz rice
  • 2 oz lentils
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parsley

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cover all the ingredients with water and bring slowly to the boil.

    2. Let simmer for 4 hours.

    3. Rub through a sieve and return it to the fire, adding some chopped parsley.

    4. Serve hot.
