What You Need:

1 pound shelled walnuts
2 chopped onions
1 oz butter
Small glass pomegranate juice
½ oz brown sugar
Salt
Pepper
Allspice

How To Cook: |

|
1. Mince the walnuts and fry with the onions in the butter.
|
2. When the onions are just colored, pour in the juice and the sugar, stir well and simmer over a very low heat for 2 hours.
|
3. Season with salt, pepper and allspice to taste.
|
4. Serve with poultry or meat.
