What You Need:

  • 1 oz butter
  • 2 sticks celery
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 2 oz flour
  • 1 pint milk
  • 3 oz cashew nuts
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • Cooked carrots and green peas

  • How To Cook:
    1. Melt the butter, cut the celery and onion into small pieces and fry.

    2. Stir in the flour, add the whole nuts and salt to taste, and allow cooking very gently with the lid on for 15 minutes.

    3. Add the cream.

    4. Make a border of peas in a serving dish, pour the mixture into the centre and garnish with the cooked carrot.
