What You Need:            (To Serve: 2 - 4)

  • 1 pound fresh peanuts
  • 2 teacups milk
  • Flour
  • Stock
  • ½ dessertspoon butter
  • Cream if liked

  • How To Cook:
    1. Shell and clean nuts, place in the oven. When slightly roasted take out and leave to cool.

    2. Remove brown skin by rubbing between the hands and then grind very finely.

    3. Mix with a little flour and about 2 teacups of milk then add the mixture to a good stock.

    4. Season to taste and put on the fire, slowly bring to the boil.

    5. When ready add the butter and a little cream if liked and serve.
