What You Need:            (To Make: 8 salmon burgers)

  • 1 can (15½ oz.) salmon
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • 2½ oz soft breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Fat for frying

  • How To Cook:
    1. Empty contents of can into bowl.

    2. Flake the salmon, mash the bones and mix with the salmon liquid.

    3. Add the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and onion and mix lightly. Add egg and mix well.

    4. Shape into 8 patties and fry until browned on one side.

    5. Turn and brown the other side.

    6. Serve with fluffy mashed potatoes, green peas and raw tomato slices.
