What You Need:            (To Serve: 2 - 4)

  • ½ pound finely chopped suet
  • 1 pound sugar
  • ½ pound breadcrumbs
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2 large lemons
  • Milk

  • How To Cook:
    1. Mix finely chopped suet with sugar and breadcrumbs and adds whole eggs, the lemon juice of 2 lemons and the finely grated rind of one.

    2. If the mixture appears too stiff, moisten with a little milk.

    3. Put into a buttered basin and steam or boil for 3½ - 4 hours.
