Baked Ziti With Feta
(Makaronia Sto Fourno)
What You Need:
  • 1 pound ziti
  • 1 pound feta cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 quart milk
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 6 tablespoons grated kefalotiri cheese
  • How To Cook:
    1. Preheat oven to 350°.

    2. Cook ziti according to package directions and drain well. Crumble feta. Separate eggs and beat whites until frothy.

    3. Beat egg yolks until creamy. Fold yolks into whites, and add feta, milk, and onion.

    4. Spread the, ziti in a buttered 10 by 14-inch pan. Pour egg mixture over pasta and sprinkle kefalotiri cheese over the mixture.

    5. Bake for 1 hour or until golden and bubbly.

    To Serve: 6 to 8
